Tattoos after care

· Wash hands & remove bandage after 2 hours. If bandage sticks, remove it under a stream of warm water.

· Wash tattoo with soap and water, and pat dry with a clean towel.

· Apply BEPANTHEN Plus 3 or 4 times a day for two weeks.

· DO NOT cover tattoo with any sort of bandage.

· DO NOT expose tattoo to sea, sun or pool for 2 weeks.

· DO NOT scratch, pick or tan the tattoo during healing process.


Body Piercing aftercare

Body piercing at Vision Tattoos are always performed in a sterile environment, using disposable equipment (used only once) and brand new sterilized jewelry, however once you leave the shop, the piercing and its aftercare becomes your own responsibility.
the healing process of each piercing may vary in length depending on the individual, deviation from proper aftercare instructions and the area chosen to be pierced.

Handling of the new piercing with unclean hands may cause infections, therefore one must pay particular attention to cleaning ones hands prior to treating the piercing and should avoid touching the piercing at any other time.


General Piercing

· Wash hands thoroughly with an antibacterial soap before touching the piercing, paying particular attention to clean between the fingers and under the nails.

· Mix 1 tablespoon of salt in warm water and stir thoroughly until dissolved.

· With a cotton bud soaked in the salt solution, wet and soften any dried matter or discharge around the piercing and clean away any dirt residue and crust accumulated around it - at this stage, DO NOT turn the piercing.

· Make sure the jewelry is clean from any residue and rub some "BEPANTHEN Plus" ointment on it. Gently rotate the jewelry in order to insert the ointment into the pierced area (N.B. Rotating unclean jewelry will cause an infection).

· Use a clean cotton bud dipped in the salt solution in order to clean any left over ointment from the pierced area.

· Repeat the cleaning process 3 times per day until it heals completely.

· DO NOT EVER use alcohol.


Tongue and Lips
· The aftercare for tongue and mouth piercing is quite simple. Simply rinse mouth frequently with an antiseptic mouthwash, such as Listerine or Meridol.

· Rinse mouth 3 times per day and repeat after smoking, drinking and eating in order to keep the mouth sterile at all times.

· For each internal and external piercing (i.e. Labret - lip), combine the two aftercare direction as above (clean with salt solution and ointment and rinse mouth with antiseptic mouthwash).
